the darker the berry
the tighter the noose
you just leave me hanging
crows pick my body clean
only marrow
left for me
you see right through
do you even hear me?
am I invisible?
locked in a cage
while you watch me bleed
guess I’m disposable
trying to swim
who poisoned the water
something’s pulling me down
acid fills up my lungs
quiet screams
buried deep
you see right through
